Welcome to Yoga in Mind!
A healthy mind lives in a healthy body. For quite a while now it has been acknowledged that our state of mind has an influence on our physical well-being, and vice versa. Even traditional medicine these days tries to incorporate this knowledge into their treatment of illnesses, not only relying on chemicals. There is a balance in our body-mind relationship that needs to be looked after to stay healthy; and that is what Yoga has to offer. Through work with postures or poses (asanas) using the breath to move us, we work on attaining and maintaining this balance.
With this balance intact we are able to face daily life stress free, because we increase vitality, and stamina. You will experience an increase of concentration, awareness, and self-confidence. You will feel better in your body, your posture will be improved, your whole outlook on life will change for the better, no matter how old or young you are.
That is why Yoga is called holistic, as it takes the whole person into consideration. As a Yoga teacher I aim to help people on their way to a healthier and happier way of living.
